A CALL FOR SUPPORT

The humid morning air embraces your tired yet conditioned body as you walk tensed towards the venue of the examinations you have been preparing for.

Your brain, preoccupied with a couple of thoughts, perhaps of doubts and hopes on what might transpire at day end, is continuously refreshed. Silent prayers are uttered sincerely to God so His grace is bestowed upon you and upon your friends who share the same hope you strongly keep.

And then you see others, with faces older and more yuppie than how you look like. Suddenly, you realized, they are there for a purpose unlike your’s. They are there to support friends and schoolmates who, just like you, are there to stage a fight that would change their lives. You realized their school banners cheer spirits; Their words uplift souls.

Then you look beside you; none was there. No older schoolmates, no teachers, no banners.

Certainly, you have felt the same way when it was our time to take the CPA Board Examinations. And more certainly, you wished you received the same encouragement at the time you most needed it.

Now, we can do something. The CPA board exam is approaching. Let’s uplift spirit, boost confidence, and let our co-alumni feel they are supported.

If we can, let's provide meals for our examinees during the day of the examinations. And prior to the exams, maybe we could also meet them for some tips and a one-on-one tutorial (WE CAN CAPITALIZE OUR BOARD EXAM TOPNOTCHERS AND EXCELLENT PERFORMERS TO TUTOR THE EXAMINEES :) )

We can contribute any amount to raise fund to defray all the expenses related to this. I believe SISIW na yan sa atin ngayon.

It's about time we pay back TIP for all the discounts and scholarship grants we enjoyed in college.
